Sultans Of Swing Ceiling

Embracing both the past and present, Sultans of Swing combines imperial elegance with the sheer pleasure of blowing new life into long-standing shapes and forms. This collection was originally inspired by the contrast of a Dutch river landscape surrounding a contemporary house. Only water and air were visible; a boat sat anchored by a huge twist of rope. Inside the home, classical elements were in abundance, like heavy velvet curtains with tasselled embellishments. The details and atmosphere of the surroundings were translated into a contemporary lighting sculpture – and thus Sultans of Swing was born. Available in three diametres, the twists of rope and illuminated tassels on each ceiling light are handcrafted from steel in a modern nickel finish. Due to its aesthetic values, Sultans of Swing performs well in both classic and contemporary interiors, including stately bedrooms and dressing rooms.
